A passionate mountaineer is found dead at the foot of a high cliff near Seoul. Was it an accident, suicide or even murder? Inspector Hae-joon is assigned to the case. Everything points to a tragic accident, but Hae-joon begins to have doubts. His suspicion falls on the beautiful young widow Seo-rae of the deceased. But she has an alibi. Hae-joon becomes obsessed and fascinated with Seo-rae and gradually neglects his long-distance relationship with his wife. He spends his sleepless nights watching the suspect´s estate – and falls more and more for her. Seo-rae goes along with his game. But his suspicions remain.
